APPLE GREEN SILK/MOHAIR SCARF

Exceptionally soft and light weight big scarf, knitted in pure silk and mohair. 

Width - 68cm, length - 164cm

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash cold. Do not wring but gently squeeze out water. Roll up in a towel to absorb excess water and lay out flat and without wrinkles for drying. The scarf has been washed after knitting.

ENVIRONMENT: This scarf is made from pure Bourette silk and mohair and Mulberry silk yarns. Pure bourette silk (raw silk) produced from silk fibers collected from cocoons after the chrysalises are allowed to mature into moths and escape. The Mohair yarn is a luxurious blend of the finest Kid Mohair and Mulberry silk. The Mohair comes from angora goats bred in South Africa, and the yarn is also produced locally. The Mohair is certified sustainable and RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard). The yarn is produced with high respect for animal wellbeing, and with social responsibility.  The spinning mill follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, creating yarns free from harmful chemicals.
